Adobe CS4

I finally got Adobe CS4 Web Premium! I've been waiting for it for about two weeks now, but it finally came. Actually, this is the first post I have made inside Contribute. CS4 is amazing. The introduced the Bone Tool in Flash, everything got a new style, it's just so great. I will be doing a lot of videos on them, so keep your eye out for 'em. Ever heard of TinyURL?

Probably. But there are a couple of features that you may never have seen. For all of you who have never heard of TinyURL, it is a web service which allows you to shorten ANY long web address or URL. You can visit their web page HERE. So now, on to the features. If you explore the website for a while, you will notice that there is a sidebar FULL of links. The first one you should click on is the one that says "Make Toolbar Button" or you can just click HERE. What you want to do on this page, or section, is just drag that link into your bookmarks bar. If you are using IE 7 or 8, you may have to follow the alternate instructions below. Or just follow the instructions HERE. This feature allows you to make the web page you are on a TinyURL without even leaving the page. Just click the bookmark you created. Another feature is called "preview." With this, TinyURL will show where the user who clicked on the link is going, and can then either procede, or cancel. To enable this feature, just add "preview." before the TinyURL (ex. http://preview.tinyurl.com/2tx). That would take you to Google, but TinyURL would display a message about where you are going. YouTube or Metacafe?

YouTube or Metacafe? 'Tis the age-old question. Solved by me. Here's the answer: YouTube if you're looking for fame, Metacafe if you're looking for fortune. Why? Metacafe's Producer Rewards program allows directors, producer's and other people who make their own videos to receive cash rewards ($$$) when they reach a certain number of views. But, for those people out their who just want fame? YouTube is the answer. YouTube gets so many views per day, you can't even keep track. Ever wonder how popular videos such as Evolution of Dance, or anything that involves hacking can get up to 1,000 or more views per day? That's because of the sheer mass of people who visit YouTube. Why do so many people watch YouTube videos? Because there are tons of them. It's a never-ending circle. The more videos, the more viewers, the more viewers, the more accounts, the more accounts, the more videos, so on and so forth. Check out my YouTube account HERE. And follow me on twitter HERE. Flock Browser?

Have any of you ever heard of Flock Browser? It's a free browser that bases off the Mozilla engine, meaning it's a lot like Firefox. Flock, however, is more associated with media and social networking, and integrates with things like Facebook, Photobucket, Gmail, twitter, flickr, tinypic, and much more! There's even a blogging application, which lets you post blog posts from any spot on the web! You can also use a streamlined media viewer which lets you search and find results from YouTube, flickr, and many other sites without leaving the current web page! Flock also has many getting started tutorials to help you learn everything about it. Another cool thing is that you can upload photos from anywhere! Just find a picture on the internet, or on your desktop, and click upload! You can upload it to Facebook, flickr, photobucket, and much more!
